King David the Psalmist

Handpainted · September 2026

King David was a king of Israel and a prophet from whose family Christ was born according to the flesh. He is shown with a harp because many of the Psalms are traditionally linked to him. In the Coptic Church, we pray these Psalms every day in the Agpeya.
